Robert D. Wood, II, DDS is a Nashville native and third-generation dentist. He is a proud graduate of two Nashville institutions: Tennessee State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree, and Meharry Medical College, where he completed his dental school training and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Dr. Wood has attained professional experience in multiple settings in public health, corporate dentistry, and private practice. He is excited to launch 4th Street Dental Studio in his new home city of Columbus. He has a passion for promoting preventative medicine and empowering patients with an understanding of the various aspects of their dental health.
Dr. Wood truly enjoys developing relationships with his patients and bringing them comfort while under his care – from the routine to the most complex of cases. He also aims to bring comfort and dispel fear from those who are less than enthusiastic about a trip to the dentist. He feels one of the rewarding aspects of dentistry is turning a presumed negative experience into a positive one.
